Beta Test Results: New Resource System for Balanced Gameplay

To address economy balancing issues, we have replaced Rad as a battle resource with three new in-game currencies:

New Battle Resources:

  • Energy: Used for synthesizing drones and mechanical units.
  • Biomass: Required for spawning Critters and organic warriors.
  • Spawn Rad: A temporary in-battle resource for reinforcements and last-minute upgrades.

Why This Change?

  • More Balanced Battles: Separating campaign and battle resources prevents exploits and economy issues.
  • Greater Tactical Depth: Players must now manage resources carefully, choosing between reinforcements and tech upgrades.
  • Clearer Mechanics: The new system is easier to understand while keeping resource management engaging.

This change ensures that Warleague’s economy is fair, clear, and rewarding for all playstyles.
